Neos 2.0 released
The release of version 2.0 is a great milestone for Neos. Built on feedback from agencies, users, editors and developers, Neos 2.0 contains more improvements & bugfixes than any previous release. At the same time, greatly anticipated features have been implemented, emphasizing the CMS's claim to be a great tool for more and more content projects. With this release Neos becomes a greatly matured CMS - or a Content Application Platform as we see it.

Why a license change to MIT makes sense for Flow users
We want to make Flow as free as possible to further its adoption. The current LGPL license has drawbacks with its copyleft clauses. Neos will remain GPL.

It is our goal to continuously strengthen Neos, Flow and the community that surrounds these awesome open source products. The TYPO3 Association and we - the Neos team - have therefore started negotiations to separate ourselves on an organisational level.

Keynote and product vision talks from Inspiring Con 2015

TYPO3 Neos 1.2 released
Exactly one year ago, the team behind Neos released the very first version of the software we build – what was then dubbed TYPO3 Neos 1.0. This December, we’re very happy to announce the release of the third major version. Now version 1.2 is available and it comes with a plethora of new features.
