Preparing for the Future
A few days have passed since the announcement that Neos will transition into an independent project. On Tuesday and Wednesday we met in Munich to discuss the next steps.

Neos to become independent
It is our goal to continuously strengthen Neos, Flow and the community that surrounds these awesome open source products. The TYPO3 Association and we - the Neos team - have therefore started negotiations to separate ourselves on an organisational level.

Keynote and product vision talks from Inspiring Con 2015
At the 2015 Inspiring Conference Robert Lemke delivered the keynote talking about the past, present and future of the Neos software and project. Closing day one, Rasmus Skjoldan and Daniel Hinderink spoke about their vision for a product strategy hinging on one of the major trends in content management. The videos can be found below. TYPO3 Neos 1.2 released
Exactly one year ago, the team behind Neos released the very first version of the software we build – what was then dubbed TYPO3 Neos 1.0. This December, we’re very happy to announce the release of the third major version. Now version 1.2 is available and it comes with a plethora of new features.

Code Sprint October 2014
Between 27th of september and 5th of october nearly 30 people met in Denmark at an amazing castle to work on TYPO3 Neos.
Participants from the United States, Cambodia, Russia and all over Europe worked on several parts of the content management system with the major goals to improve the user experience, add additional features and fix bugs. -

Code Sprint June 2014
The Neos/Flow team met for another code sprint at Technische Universiteit Eindhoven (TU/e) in the Netherlands leading up to the developer days. Three days were spent focussing on improving our tools, communication, discussing organizational matters, working on upcoming features and ended with finalizing the release of 1.1. The code sprint was medium sized with 13 participants in total.

TYPO3 Neos 1.1 released
We, the Neos Team, are pleased to release TYPO3 Neos 1.1. For this release, we wanted to build a strong foundation for the major features that we are preparing for future releases. As such, we focused on stability and performance improvements.

TYPO3 Neos 1.1 Beta 1 released
After 265 commits, thousands of lines of code changed and 2 code sprints, we release the first beta version of Neos 1.1 today. A total number of 30 contributors, dedicated team members and a supportive community made this release possible.

Code Sprint March 2014
Last week we, the TYPO3 Neos team and several contributors, met in Rosenheim for the first big code sprint in 2014. We worked on some major features like localization, access rights and prepared the release of TYPO3 Neos 1.1 Beta 1.

TYPO3 Neos 1.1 Beta 1
TYPO3 Neos 1.1 Beta 1 will be released next week. The major features of this release will be caching, content dimensions and changing of NodeTypes. Details about the release will follow.

TYPO3 Neos 1.0.2 released
The release of TYPO3 Neos. 1.0.2 delivers several bugfixes mainly within the package TYPO3.Neos as well as some fixes for TYPO3.TYPO3CR and some minor features.

TYPO3 Neos 1.0 released
It is with great pride that the TYPO3 community releases the TYPO3 Neos version 1.0. It's been a long haul to get to this point but now, after an only month-long short beta-period, we're now ready with the 1.0 stable release.
