Hey Neos Community!

In February 2026 with the days getting longer and the sun getting brighter, the Neos "Project Rebrand" was reinitialised to finally bring a refreshed style to the Neos project and websites. Also many package maintainers felt the vibe too and started their early spring cleaning and released updates packages, with the major and feature release mentioned below.

If you have ideas, feedback, or projects to share, we’d love to hear from you. Reach out anytime, especially via Slack in #guild-marketing.

A reminder for the upcoming Neos events

  • Neos Sprint Rotkreuz (Switzerland) April 17th 2026
    • Organised by internezzo AG and visol
    • This sprint will focus on improving the Neos media management, especially the Media.Ui package
    • We are looking for PHP, JS, UX and accessibility skills
    • You can already sign up which helps the agencies with planning & preparation
  • NeosCon 2026 June 1–3, 2026
    • We are still looking for sponsors to support the conference and the Neos community. There are various categories and price ranges available for which we appreciate support.
    • A post Con sprint is also once again being planned.
    • You can also submit your project, package or other contribution for the Neos Award 2026.
  • Sitegeist also plans to have a Neos sprint in Hamburg in autumn of 2026. More details will follow.

The Neos rebrand project

Since beginning of the year the Neos website rebranding project made again new progress. We have once again multiple contributors from various agencies and Neos team members working on bringing the refreshed Neos look & feel live.

After a lot of work has been put into this project over the last years, only little was visible so far. So in February we put a lot of effort into finishing up some of the work to finally bring the first pieces live in March (you might already notice the new footer), with regular new updates until NeosCon 2026. There is still a long road to go, with more work on the components, designs, concepts and content needed. We focus first on the homepages and landing pages of the various Neos sites with all subpages being refreshed bit by bit.
