What's NEOS in March 2026
Did you see? Neos.io looks different ❤️
– Written by Sebastian Helzle, Marika Hauke, Philip Berghoff
Hey Neos Community!
March 2026 brought once again many new package releases and Neos core fixes. The rebrand project moved ahead with many updates for the Neos website. The Neos project now has its first diamond level supporter. We have an upcoming Media sprint in Switzerland and NeosCon is getting closer!
If you have ideas, feedback, or projects to share, we’d love to hear from you. Reach out anytime, especially via Slack in #guild-marketing.

Our first diamond level supporter
We are very happy to have 3m5. as our first diamond supporter. We’re beyond excited and incredibly grateful for this amazing (and very real!) financial support. Open source work always needs funding — and with all the big changes currently in progress (hello Neos 9.2 and beyond), this support couldn’t come at a better time.
Thank you, 3m5., for believing in the project and helping us push Neos forward!
The Neos rebrand project
You might have already noticed that the neos.io homepage and parts of the other pages have a new look. These changes are the results of the rebrand project that started quite some time ago. As several people work on the project (often in their free time), but have limited time and availability we take each piece when it's finished and put it live. Sometimes this leads to daily updates, sometimes only once or twice in a week. But we are happy with the current progress in terms of the new look & feel. Of course there is still much to do and polish.
As we are also working on finishing the new navigation bar and site header, we are still searching for content experts who can help us with the new content structure and rewriting and creating new content.
If you think you can help us in any way or have feedback & ideas, please join the #project-rebrand channel in the Neos Slack.
Website updates
Besides the many visual updates due to rebrand project, we are also working on existing features and content.
German translation
We noticed that many users are struggling with the language switch in the menu, which was a static link to the translated homepage. We did this years ago as we didn't have so much German content. We decided this needs to be changed and improved, so the language switch is now switching to the same page to prevent visitors from getting lost. We are now also working fixing pages with incomplete translations and start translation of more landing pages before continuing to other parts of the website. We are also looking here for further help.
Marketplace
The marketplace received various updates and fixes to improve its reliability and the package detail pages. In addition the (secret) JSON api has been improved and can be used for release dashboard like in the picture below.
We use this for dashboards and to create the releases in the monthlies.
Until we created a proper documentation you can play with the api here. If you create something cool, let us know!
